Junior Karting
Located only a mile away there is the famous
Karting North East 1200 metre British Championship
go karting circuit where you can experience
real outdoor kart racing - you never know you
may have the next Lewis Hamilton!
Junior karting is available
for 8 - 15 year olds...
With the arrival of our junior
Sodi karts, which boast fantastic handling round
corners and are fully adjustable to cater for
juniors of all sizes, Karting North East aims
to make your first karting experience one to
remember. These karts are designed to the latest
specifications for both reliability and performance,
and are equipped with every possible safety
feature.
We, like you, are very concerned
for your child's safety. As a result, we have
introduced the induction session with safety
in mind. Having already had over 3,000 children
complete this session without incident, we feel
this is proof of its success.
Junior Karting Induction
Session
This session consists of half an hour's
training and tuition followed by approximately
half an hour's track time. Drivers will initially
follow the instructor, being shown the racing
lines at a controlled speed, and will then go
out for a second session, putting the theory
into practice.
Kart Racing for
Older Ones
Their fleet of 390cc
Biz Thunderkarts offer greater speeds, responsive
handling and with on-board displays showing
race data, ensure your party enjoys an adrenaline
fuelled experience.
With up to 25 drivers racing
head to head at any time, they can offer Grand
Prix races or Team Endurance events to suit
your party size. The purpose built circuit also
features flood lights, so you can enjoy racing
during evenings all year round.
There's nothing quite like
a bit of rivalry with your friends when it comes
to Karting. Then again, they say that nice guys
come last. So, the question is, do you have
the competitive instinct and controlled aggression
needed to finish first, or are you happy to
look down the tailpipe of your pal as he passes
the chequered flag?
Karting sessions are ideal
for a good day/night out, birthday party or
for those who fancy challenging their mates
to some head to head racing. Karting North East
also run karting courses for young drivers as
part of our Community Group Training Programme,
ideal for school children and youth groups.
